Twas the weekend before December, when all through Big Rock
All the kiwis were stirring, and came as a flock
The place was stocked full of kiwi treats and beer
Everyone was dressed to show their holiday cheer

The teams were preparing to win the grand prize
While visions of championship danced in their eyes
Written and put on by 3 mischievous elves
Who schemed and plotted all between themselves.

With all the teams ready the quiz did begin
All teams competing to see who would win.
Away to the bar to fill up on drinks
These kiwis knew how to get all the clinks

The games in between proved quite a show
With Clive eating a Weetbix with a very fast flow
Andrew proved king at drinking all things gross
We still aren’t sure who was laughing the most

With the half time scores proving so tight
All teams were proving they were up for a fight
With a little bit of knowledge about Canada,
They thought the next round be a big winner

With the quiz all wrapped up and everyone in paradise
Becs and Ria checked over the scores twice
The winners won prizes including wine and beer,
Ski passes, Whittakers and Christmas cheer

The three elves exclaim, as we snuck out of sight
Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
