A guest post from International Experience Canada from the office of the Consulate General of Canada, Sydney

Kia Ora!

Do you miss New Zealand? Why not bring New Zealand to you? Inspire the youth of New Zealand to explore your second home in Canada!

The International Experience Canada section, responsible for the Canadian Working Holiday program is asking for your video clips and photos from your time in Canada. These video clips will be used in a video to inspire other New Zealanders to take the leap and go on a Working Holiday to Canada.

The theme of the video is ‘Work and fun in snow or sun’ with the aim to represent all four seasons in Canada. Therefore, there are some suggestions below of the kinds of experiences that reflect this theme. If you have other unique or interesting experiences of your travel in Canada, as well as snippets of the work that you do, we would welcome them.

This list is not exhaustive.

Summer

Great lakes, canoeing, water skiing, summer festivals, clips of working outdoors, clips of working in cafes/restaurants, food trips, road trips

Autumn

Colour change, leaves on the ground, Halloween, Nuit Blanche Toronto, fall flavours, Canadian wildlife, work clips, hiking

Winter

Skiing, snowboarding, working in ski resorts, festivals, snow, mountains, Northern lights, Yukon experience

Spring

Maple syrup festivals, sugar shacks, waterfalls (Niagara Falls), flowers, Ottawa Tulip Festival

Please contact whpcanada.sydney@international.gc.ca if you have any questions or wish to contribute videos. The team will instruct you further on how to send your videos and photos.

The video will be shared on social media with the intention of encouraging more New Zealanders to come to Canada and experience this great country.

Be part of the Kiwinvasion!

Thank you,

International Experience Canada
