Kia Ora Vancouver Community Society is incorporated under the British Columbia, Canada Societies Act and is an independent Society in British Columbia alone.
Kia Ora Vancouver is governed by a Board of Directors who are all New Zealanders, who volunteer their time to make sure New Zealanders arriving or living in Vancouver are made to feel at home and have a central point from which they can be advised, communicate, socialise, and reconnect with other Kiwis. We organise events, social gatherings, and guide Kiwis through a host of inquiries throughout the year. Waitangi Day, the Summer picnic, and our Christmas party are all big draws. Our Facebook and Website provide information on tips and hits for living in Vancouver along with work and travel related information.
