Bid To Walk In The Footsteps of Legends

We have a fantastic prize up for bidding in our silent auction at Waitangi Day 2019 which will enable one lucky Rugby player an rare opportunity to attend the renowned Auckland Rugby International Academy in  New Zealand.

TAKE YOUR PILGRIMAGE TO EDEN PARK

Travel to the spiritual home of the world’s most revered rugby side to experience the most sophisticated and successful high-performance rugby programme in New Zealand. From Eden Park’s state -of-the-art facility, the Auckland Rugby International Academy has the programmes, expertise, and systems guaranteed to lift your rugby to another level.

The programme has a proven track record, in one year alone  more than 60 players competing in the domestic profession league (also known as the Mitre 10 Cup) were graduates of the Auckland Rugby Academy. Now, for the first time, aspiring rugby players can secure the same training and coaching development as these elite players. 

With specialist coaching and education in the areas of Technical, Tactical, Nutrition and Strength & Conditioning the core programme is delivered the Auckland Rugby Academy for players, coaches, and teams in both formats of the game (15-a-side and 7s).

Success does not happen by chance here. Throughout the programme , key measures are tracked against your individual goals. Then at the end , a report outlines the progress and actual gains made during your time here , plus a breakdown pinpointing further areas for improvement . These formal reporting processes are the foundation of the programmes effectiveness. Take your game to the highest level with the skills and support from this renowned programme.

The Prize

4- week athlete development (Est $1,600)

The course will focus on the following key areas: strength and conditioning, technical and tactical skills development, goal setting, game preparation, game elevation, and at least one internal match.

The Prize does not include flight or accommodation and must be used by Sept 15, 2019.

The Academy can organise a home stay in New Zealand. As part of the Academy, you’ll be making friends from other countries , challenging yourself in a new environment and gaining confidence from personal success.
