We’re looking for a passionate Kiwi who loves to put on events and wants be involved in the pulse of the Kiwi community. You will help to create, organise, and promote the events that Kia Ora Vancouver puts on over the year. Working with the Kia Ora Vancouver board, looking for new sponsorship opportunities with local businesses, leveraging the numbers that Kia Ora Vancouver can bring to their venues. Main events that we put on are Waitangi Day, All Black matches, Summer BBQ and Xmas. You will gain experience negotiating deals, marketing, and event management.
We ideally want someone who can commit to 12 months+ with us. Time required varies depending on what is going on but would vary between 2-5hrs a month which includes being at most the events. If interested send us an email telling us why you want to join our team. kiaora@kiaoravancouver.kiwi
